Hey guys! If you follow the blog, you know that I do a lot of reviews. This summer I’m going to be trying some new things, and I thought some of you guys would like to see my skincare routine, espcially since it changes a ton from season to season. This summer my skin has been pretty oily, really acne prone, and I’m always outside, exposing my skin to the sun. I usually have pretty acne prone skin but lately I’ve been getting more of the tiny bumps. I find that this routine keeps everything in check while managing the intense humidity outside.
Morning

In the Morning I usually like to start off with the Neogen Green Tea Real Fresh Foam Cleanser. I love the smell of Green Tea and it’s super refreshing to wake up to. It’s either this or the Cosrx low pH Good Morning gel Cleanser.
Next, I’ll use my Benton BHA Aloe Toner, just to quickly put some moisture back into my skin. I also love the BHA as a daily exfoliant.
This next step is critical: The Skinmiso Pore Corset Serum. This serum really helps to keep my skin smooth and cut down some of the sebum production, keeping me from looking like a shiny potato.
Finally we have sunscreen, an essential. For this step, I’ve been loving the Biore UV Essence. It’s so cooling and I can use mounds without worrying about a white cast. It’s an absolute dream. (Tip! Put it in the refrigerator to feel extra put together and cool. literally.)
And that’s it for the morning! I keep it pretty simple, especially because it’s just so hot outside. I don’t want to clog my pores or have anything just melt right off.
Night
I like to keep it simple with my Neogen Green Tea Real Fresh Foam Cleanser. It helps me unwind after a hot, tiring day.
Next, I’ll keep it consistent with my Benton Aloe Toner.
Thirdly, I’ll pat on some of the Neutrogena Hydro Booster for a little extra moisture.
For spot treatment, I either use my Cosrx Master Pimple Patches or the Glam Glow super mud treatment, depending on what stage my pimples are.
That’s it for my nighttime routine! If you can’t tell already, I really try and keep it simple during the summer. It’s refreshing, wakes me up, and puts me to sleep. This routine also allows for a ton of flexibility, working it whatever I might want to focus on that day.
